Mumbai : An exhibition named as ‘A solo Exhibition of New Ceramics’ consisting of artefacts made by Shri. Vineet Kakkar from Delhi is going on from Monday at Museum Art Gallery in Colaba. In this exhibition, there was a piece of art made from ceramic that was shaped like rubber slippers with pictures of Bhagawan Shankar, Nataraj etc. on them. There were 7 pairs of such slippers on exhibit. (Anyone and everyone desecrate Hindu deities as Hindus are spineless and lifeless. Hindus, denigrating deities under the name of art, are real enemies of Hindus – Editor) Shri. Arvind Gawade, president of Maharashtra Nava-nirman Sena (MNS) for Colaba Zone came to know about the denigration. He approached Colaba police station and lodged a complaint under article 295 (A). Police had to take
cognizance of the complaint and confiscate the artefacts by closing down the exhibition. A case has been filed against ‘the Fine Arts’ company in this regard. (Congratulations to members of MNS for lodging complaint with the police and getting the artefacts confiscated by following legal path – Editor)

Those preventing denigration of deities arrested; justice (?) by police!

Smt. Hinduja of ‘Museum Art Gallery’ opposed Shri. Gawade. On the basis of her complaint, police lodged a complaint against Shri. Gawade and his associates under clause 343 (to gherao) and detained him. Smt. Hinduja was released on bail of Rs. 15,000/- whereas Shri. Gawade and his associates were released on individual bail. During this period, the art gallery kept all 7 pairs of slippers on exhibit and it is learnt that many of them have been sold.

Shri. Gawade told representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ that it was not just on the part of the police to take down complaint against them. Police should have filed case against Museum Art Gallery so that they would not dare to hold such exhibitions in future. Impotency of Hindus is responsible for denigrations of deities. Every Hindu must oppose such desecration of deities.
