Pune (Maharashtra): A student of a school located in the Pimpri Camp Area was declared failed because he used to apply tilak on his forehead and used to write ‘Shri OM’ on his book. A case has been filed against the three persons of the concerned school for preaching Christianity in the school. This has been understood to happen in a school called Jai Hind High school in the Pimpri Camp area. Case has been filed in the Pimpri police station against the school Principle – Jina Fernandis, Class teacher – Gunjan Tejwani and the Administrator – Chitnis. This news was disclosed when Mr. Namdev Shirke age 50 years lodged a complaint against the school authorities with the Pimpri police station. His son Master Ashutosh has been studying in the Jai Hind High School since he was in second.

Last year when Ashutosh was in the eight standard he used to come to school with a tilak on his head and used to write ‘Shri OM’ in his book prior to starting writing anything.

When Shri Shirke went to the school to ask explanation that thought his final exams were solved excellently still why his son had failed the school refused to give any explanation. When asked to see the report that request was also refused so at last Mr. Shirke went to the court to ask for help and the court ordered the Pimpri police to register a case against the same; which is done by Shri Shirke.

(Now what will be the outcome? Will the government be able to sought justice to Mr. Shirke and his son? - Editor)
