Thane Riot issue : Hindus most badly affected in Rabodi riots

Thane (Maharashtra): Rabodi area is still under tension although quiet after 2 days since the riots took place. State Reserved Polce, Riot Controlling Squad, rapid Action Force along with the local police is still deployed in every nook and corner. They are patrolling in groups at regular intervals. In such atmosphere, Navaratri festival was celebrated and Muslims celebrated Idd. The sources informed that police are yet to arrest anyone in this connection. (Even after 2 days of such extensive riots, no arrests have been made by the police which indicates that there could be political pressure on them – Editor) Hindus seem to have incurred maximum loss in these riots.

Hindus bear the maximum brunt

Riots started by Muslims against Hindus for putting up saffron flags on the arches erected on the occasion of Navaratri have affected Hindus in the worst manner. Properties belonging to Hindus worth crores of rupees have been damaged and 32 Hindu families from Harijan Hitvardhak society have been displaced. (Hindus had to move out of Kashmir. Now they have to leave even from this State. If this tendency is not stopped, Hindus may not find any land for them to live. – Editor)

It is worth mentioning here that most of the residents of this society are patrons of Congress for many years. (It is a slap in the face of Congress that has carried on with only one point agenda of wooing Muslims – Editor) It is observed that the ruling Congress Party is not paying much attention to the losses borne by Hindus. (The secular Government declared compensation for Muslims, affected in bomb blasts, in Muslim dominated Malegaon; but they are not bothered about Hindus affected in these riots – Editor)

The Administration has neither started recording breakage, arson or losses incurred during the riots nor has it started extending help to the affected in such emergency. (Hindus, slogging to earn and paying tax to the Government, should realise that the Congress Rulers are not going to help you in any way and see to it that they are not elected to power in the forthcoming elections – Editor)

No action taken so far

According to police sources, they were to start action against the culprits after Idd. (Dharmaguru of Hindus, Swami Shankaracharya was arrested right on the day of Hindu festival, Diwali; but no action is taken against Muslims responsible for riots and causing terror because they have to celebrate Idd. What justice is this? Is this a secular country? – Editor)

It is said that police may file cases even against Hindus for taking part in riots. (If police can hold back action against Muslims till Idd ,then they should wait for Hindus till their Festival of Divali is over! – Editor) In these riots, members of many Hindu Organizations, political parties and local Navaratri committees had helped police in curbing Muslim rioters. These members however, feel that police may take action against them. (In that case, Hindus need to think before helpimg police in future riots. – Editor)

If police really take action against Hindus, it would be like leaving the main culprits and hanging the innocents. One of the police officers injured in the riots has not yet recovered from the shock as he never thought that anything like this could happen. (Only in Congress regime, Hindus have been so much broken physically, mentally or in spirit. Hindus should pray for elimination of such regime along with chanting for 10 minutes everyday! – Editor) If a stock of the situation is taken, it is apparent that spark of riots can again get lighted and if police fail to take control in time, Hindus staying in Muslim-dominent areas would be most badly affected. Mendacious militant Muslims

Muslims allege that police worked under Shiv Sena

Thane (Maharashtra): Rounds of charges and counter-charges are being fired by militant Muslims of Rabodi and they alleged in a press conference that police were giving in to pressure by Shiv Sena leaders. (So far, police have not filed case against anyone and on what basis, Muslims are making such allegations. – Editor) Shiv Sena leaders like Shri. Eknath Shinde, Anant Tare and other politicians were camping there during riots and police were taking action under the pressure brought in by them. Police were not doing anything even when houses and vehicles near police station were on fire.

'Rabodi Sahayata Committee' has been formed by Muslims. Muslims are now claiming that they want peace and demanding court enquiry into the case. Mainly Muslim journalists were invited for the press conference. Only 4 Hindu reporters were present. All questions were asked in such manner so that Muslims would be able to present their side effortlessly.

Bajarang Dal protected not only Hindus and police but also Muslims – Dr. Sudhir Ranade

Thane (Maharashtra): Shri. Krupashankar sinh of Congress and Shri. Jitendra Avhad of NCP is trying to hold Bajarang Dal responsible for the riots in Rabodi. As a matter of fact, members of Bajarang Dal, although without arms, tried to protect Hindus from the armed attack of Muslims. Even police were helped by Bajarang Dal members. Not only this, but 4 Muslim families badly affected in riots were also helped by Bajarang Dal. The above information was given by Dr. Sudhir Ranade, Thane district minister of VHP in a press conference held at the Government Rest House.

Dr. Ranade said that the above facts were also known to Thane Police Commissioner and dy. Police Commissioner and other police officers. Before levelling such charges against Bajarang Dal, the officials should have at least found out whether the members of Bajarang Dal were armed or carrying a burning torch. Still if such accusations are made against Bajarang Dal, it is ready to accept the charges for the well being of Hindus. The press conference was also attended by Shri. Vikram Bhoir whose house and vehicle was set on fire, Adv. Ratnaprabha Patil, president and spokesperson of Navashakti Sarvajanik Navaratrotsava Mandal and other members of the Mandal.

Riots pre-planned

Dr. Ranade said, "Riots in Rabodi were pre-planned. Arch of Navaratri decoation was only an excuse. It has been found that members of SIMI, Muslims outside Rabodi and other Muslim leaders were associated with the riots. Like in Bhiwandi where two police were burnt alive, even in Rabodi, police were the targets of Muslims. Dr. Ranade said further that NCP is trying to woo Muslims. Shri. Jitendra Avhad was wearing a Muslim cap and helping Muslims. He did not help a single Hindu. Shri. Avhad did not reach areas like Krantinagar and Kattalkhana (Abattoir) where maximum Hindus were badly affected. Few newspapers have published that Avhad went to Muslim dominated area and tried to calm the rioters. Those who have spent their lives in buttering Muslims, why would they be afraid of Muslims? Why should then Avhad be praised? In fact, he should introspect that why Muslims did not listen to him.

"Four days before the riots, police had advised to shift the arch backward by a few feet. We agreed to their request and told them to give such instructions in writing. Police said that they would get it in writing from Muslims. But till a day before Navaratri festival, police did not inform anything", said Ratnaprabha Pati.

Bajarang Dal has published the names of militant Muslims involved in the riots in its circular.

Maharashtra Navanirman Sena paid the deposits to admit Hindus in hospitals.
